AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy)

We offer a full range of reagents to cover all atomic absorption spectroscopy needs.

Acids, Salts and Buffers

We offer two different high purity reagents depending on the metals of interest:
Acids and salts with low content in Hg (Hg content < 0.05 ppm (mg/L)) specifically recommended for the analysis of mercury by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy using the method of Cold Vapour. We can supply all the reagents required in this method and we can also supply Sodium Borohydride also used for Hydride Generation method.
Acids with low content in metals at level of ppm suitable for the analysis of heavy metals as Pb, Sn, Cr, etc. or substances like As, Zn, Cd, etc.
We also supply ionisation buffer for atomic absorption for use as ionisation suppressers.

Standards

We supply 28 single element standards at a concentration of 1.000 g/L, with a tolerance level, in the vast majority of cases, of ±0.002 g/L, in 100 mL and 500 mL PE bottles.
Each standard is supplied with its corresponding certificate of analysis, which indicates the NIST standard against which it has been traced and the assay method used.
We recommend that AAS standard solutions be prepared with our “for analysis, ACS” quality water, which guarantees trace metal concentrations of less than 0.01 ppm in most cases.
